INSOMNIA
INSOMNIA
INSOMNIA, 36x48” Acrylic on Canvas
are we ever truly alone? in the moments between waking and sleeping, we can find our sense of self. an exploration of flow state, of the deep unconscious yearnings that present themselves quietly, subtly. between waking and dreaming, I met myself- the in’s and out’s and dark corners of what is. what happens when this opportunity for self-discovery is eliminated? where can our curiosity, eagerness, and yearning confide, if succumbed to nothing but blue light?
on ‘CONSUMPTION’:
no matter the form, ‘consumption’ is a relationship. a bridged phenomena of connectedness.
we need mankind to be awake to be leavers, rather than takers.
how are we interacting within our living systems?
what do you consider to be a part of your living system?
a larger approach to examining and understanding, we restore order by remembering we are creators.
the largest shift begins at the root of ‘self creation’, to have meaningful perspective on why we feel separated from the whole.
through the rhythm of consciousness and interconnection, we can begin to show up as the whole; as the creators.
a curation of work to encourage curiosity, reflection, creativity. each of these pieces calls to both the personal and universal experience of many.
